Our Board has two basic responsibilities—governance and development. The “governance” role involves protection of the public interest, being a fiduciary, ensuring compliance with legal and tax requirements, and evaluating the organization’s work. The “development” role includes raising money, bringing new contacts to the organization and acting as ambassadors. Each member brings unique talents, interests and networks critical to our success.
