Sarah is the Chief Executive Officer of the Partnership for Transparency Fund Africa (PTF-Africa), working with donors, partners, and volunteers to fund, implement and evaluate programs across the continent. Sarah founded PTF-Africa after managing programs and communications at the Partnership for Transparency Fund (PTF) headquarters in Washington, DC. Prior to joining PTF, Sarah worked at Gender Action, managing a program to reduce gender inequalities produced by the Medupi Power Station in South Africa and serving as CSO observer on the Climate Investment Fund’s (CIF) Strategic Climate Fund Committee. Sarah has also managed communications for the former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Council on Human Rights. She holds a BA in Political Science, with a certificate in Advanced Leadership Studies, from American University and an MA in Democratic Governance from the University of Cape Town.
